Install Octo Browser and sign in. Create a ProxyLane connection with HTTP / HTTPS selected. Use Keep the same IP for a browsing session; sticky sessions have limits.

Open the proxy settings

Create a profile with Quick Profile. In its row, click Direct, then Set a new proxy/VPN.

Add your ProxyLane details

Stay on the proxy tab. Paste http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT into Host (also described as Enter IP or domain). Use your ProxyLane values in place of the capitalized words. Octo fills the other fields from this line.Find your host, port and proxy credentials. These are not your ProxyLane account password.

Check and launch

Click Check proxy and wait for the green Available result. Confirm the connection, then click Start beside the profile.Inside that browser window, open the IP check. Compare its ip with the same check in your regular browser on this computer, with its proxy off. Then try your intended website; the IP check alone does not prove that site works.
Recheck all four values and the HTTP protocol. Confirm you have available traffic in ProxyLane. If it still fails, follow connection troubleshooting.
