Connect one RoxyBrowser profile to ProxyLane and check its internet protocol (IP) address.

Before starting

SOCKS5 is the default protocol in both ProxyLane and RoxyBrowser, so nothing needs switching. For an account or a long browsing session, open Advanced options and select Keep the same IP. A sticky session can still change address if its connection becomes unavailable.

Connect RoxyBrowser

1

Create a profile

Click Create Profile in the top left corner and give the profile a name. In the Proxy section, click Add.

2

Paste the proxy

In the ProxyLane dashboard, set Format to ip:port:username:password and click Copy. Paste the line into Intelligent Recognition. RoxyBrowser fills the host, port, username and password by itself.
RoxyBrowser Add Proxy panel with Intelligent Recognition, Proxy type IPV4, Proxy Info set to SOCKS5 with Host and Port, Username, Password, Refresh URL and IP Detection with Test Proxy

Prefer separate fields? Keep IPV4 and SOCKS5, then copy the connection values into Host, Port, Username and Password. Leave Refresh URL empty.
3

Test the proxy

Click Test Proxy. If the check fails, switch the IP Detection channel and test again before changing anything else.
4

Save and open

Click Save, then Create Profile. Click Open beside the profile.
🧭  One account, one profile, one proxy. Create a separate ProxyLane connection for each profile, and pick the city the account usually logs in from. Why it matters

Check the result

  1. Open the IP check inside the RoxyBrowser profile.
  2. Open the same check in a regular browser on the same computer, with its proxy off.
  3. Compare the ip values. Different values confirm a different connection address. If they match, recheck the profile’s proxy settings.
  4. Open the intended website in the profile. An IP check alone does not prove that another website accepts the connection.

If the connection fails

Recheck the host, port, username, password and SOCKS5 selection, and confirm that traffic is available in ProxyLane. The location looks wrong? Different IP Detection channels can assign different locations to the same address, so compare the address first. Connection troubleshooting covers the next checks. Editing a proxy saved in RoxyBrowser’s Proxies list changes it for every profile that uses it. Official RoxyBrowser proxy instructions
