Connect one browser profile to ProxyLane and check its internet protocol (IP) address.

Before starting

In the ProxyLane dashboard, open Advanced options. Select Keep the same IP for a browsing session. A sticky session can still change address if its connection becomes unavailable.

HTTP means Hypertext Transfer Protocol; HTTPS is its secure variant.

Connect MoreLogin

Open a profile

Open Profiles → Browser and click Edit Proxy on the intended profile. For a new profile, use New Profile → Browser Profile → Advanced Settings. Older versions call this Advanced create.

Choose the proxy

Select New Proxy and set Proxy Type to HTTP.

Enter the connection

Copy the ProxyLane connection values: host and port into the server fields, proxy username into Proxy account, and proxy password into Proxy password. Leave Refresh URL empty.

Save and open

Save the settings, then click Start beside the profile.

Check the result

  1. Open the IP check inside the new browser window.
  2. Open the same check in a regular browser on the same computer, with its proxy off.
  3. Compare the ip values. Different values confirm a different connection address. If they match, recheck the selected profile and its proxy settings.
  4. Open the intended website in the profile. An IP check alone does not prove that another website accepts the connection.

If the connection fails

If the reported location seems wrong, compare the address first. Different IP Query Channels can assign different locations to the same address. Confirm that traffic is available in ProxyLane. Connection troubleshooting covers the next checks. Official MoreLogin setup instructions
