Connect one browser profile to ProxyLane and check its internet protocol (IP) address.

Before starting

In the ProxyLane dashboard, open Advanced options. Select Keep the same IP for a browsing session. A sticky session can still change address if its connection becomes unavailable.

HTTP means Hypertext Transfer Protocol; HTTPS is its secure variant.

Connect GoLogin

Choose a profile

On All profiles, create a profile or choose an existing one. In its Location column, click +, then the computer icon to add an external proxy.

Add the connection

Enter the ProxyLane host, port, username, and password in the matching fields. Select HTTP if automatic detection chooses another protocol. Use the proxy password, not the GoLogin or ProxyLane account password.

Connect the proxy

Click Connect. A green indicator means the proxy check succeeded. Older versions show these fields under Proxy → Your proxy in the profile editor.

Open the profile

Launch the saved profile from All profiles.

Check the result

  1. Open the IP check inside the new browser window.
  2. Open the same check in a regular browser on the same computer, with its proxy off.
  3. Compare the ip values. Different values confirm a different connection address. If they match, recheck the selected profile and its proxy settings.
  4. Open the intended website in the profile. An IP check alone does not prove that another website accepts the connection.

If the connection fails

If the indicator stays red, reopen the connection settings and check all four values. Leave any IP-change URL empty. Confirm that traffic is available in ProxyLane. Connection troubleshooting covers the next checks. Official GoLogin setup instructions
