Connect one browser profile to ProxyLane and check its internet protocol (IP) address.

Before starting

In the ProxyLane dashboard, open Advanced options. Select Keep the same IP for a browsing session. A sticky session can still change address if its connection becomes unavailable.

HTTP means Hypertext Transfer Protocol; HTTPS is its secure variant.

Connect Antik

Create a profile

Click Create+ and enter a profile name.

Open proxy settings

Open Proxy and select New proxy, then HTTP. Older versions show this section within General Settings.

Paste the connection

In the proxy field, use this format:
Replace each placeholder, including its angle brackets, with the ProxyLane connection value. Keep the colons and leave the IP-change URL empty.

Save and start

Save the profile, then click its Start button. The browser may open a checker page with the connection address and location.

Check the result

  1. Open the IP check inside the new browser window.
  2. Open the same check in a regular browser on the same computer, with its proxy off.
  3. Compare the ip values. Different values confirm a different connection address. If they match, recheck the selected profile and its proxy settings.
  4. Open the intended website in the profile. An IP check alone does not prove that another website accepts the connection.

If the connection fails

If the profile opens without the proxy, choose New proxy or the saved proxy in its settings, rather than No proxy. Confirm that traffic is available in ProxyLane. Connection troubleshooting covers the next checks. Official Antik setup instructions
