These steps use Firefox on desktop. First, generate a connection with HTTP / HTTPS selected. Before changing Firefox’s settings, open the IP check and note your IP.

Open Firefox’s proxy settings

In Firefox, open Settings, search for proxy, then open Settings or Configure proxy beside the result. Note your current setting so you can restore it later.

Enter your connection

Select Manual proxy configuration. Copy Host and Port from your ProxyLane connection into Firefox’s HTTP Proxy and Port fields.Check Also use this proxy for HTTPS, then save. When Firefox asks for a username and password, use your generated proxy credentials.

Open a test page

Visit the IP check. You should see an ip value. Compare it with the IP you noted before setup, then try your intended website.
To stop using the proxy, restore your previous Firefox setting. Fix an error or contact support. Firefox’s setup reference.
