Open Residential proxies. Begin with the settings your task requires; leave optional location filters at Any when you do not need them.

Location

Choose Country first. Open Precise location for the available Region, City and ISP options.

Protocol

Open Advanced settings. Match HTTP / HTTPS or SOCKS5 to the tool you are connecting.

Set protocol and location

Choose a Country, then open Precise location for Region, City and ISP. A field is unavailable when no options are returned. Changing Country clears the narrower selections. If the location list fails to load, click Retry locations before choosing again. Open Advanced settings to change Protocol. For Playwright, select HTTP / HTTPS. The dashboard’s Playwright example uses HTTP proxy authentication.

Generate fresh details after a change

Choose the IP rotation mode, then click Generate connection. Copy the new result into your tool after changing a setting. An older saved connection will not pick up your new choices automatically. In Ready to connect, open Connection details for Host, Port, Username and Password. If your tool has separate fields, enter each value separately; if it accepts a proxy URL, use Copy connection. Run the dashboard check, then make a request from your own tool. For a location-sensitive task, also inspect the result from the destination you care about; a connected status alone does not confirm localized content. Need a setting that is missing?
