# Something not working?

> Pick the problem you see.

    Check your available traffic in [Payments](https://proxylane.dev/dashboard/billing). Once it is ready, return to the proxy page and click **Generate connection**.

  <Accordion title="I cannot click Generate connection" icon="plug">
    Check your traffic balance and any pending order. If traffic is available but the button is still disabled, [contact us](mailto:hello@proxylane.dev).

  <Accordion title="The country list will not load" icon="globe">
    Click **Retry locations**, then select your country again.

  <Accordion title="My app cannot connect" icon="wrench">
    First click **Test connection** in the dashboard.

    If it works, copy the latest Host, Port, Username and Password into your app again. Use the proxy password, not your account password. Check your [app’s guide](/connect-your-tool).

    If the dashboard test fails too, follow its retry message. Send us the error if it keeps happening.

    Try `https://api.ipify.org?format=json` through the proxy in the same app.

    If that works, the problem may be specific to your destination. Send us both results. A working proxy does not guarantee every website will accept it.

    Check your existing order in [Payments](https://proxylane.dev/dashboard/billing) before paying again. [Ask support](/support) if it needs review.
