# Connect Multilogin

> Add your ProxyLane proxy to a Multilogin browser profile.

Install Multilogin and sign in. [Create a ProxyLane connection](/quickstart) with **HTTP / HTTPS** selected. Use **Keep the same IP** for a browsing session; [sticky sessions have limits](/rotating-and-sticky).

  <Step title="Open the proxy settings">
    Go to **Profiles** → **Browser**. Create or edit a profile, then open **Proxy**. Choose **Custom**.

  <Step title="Add your ProxyLane details">
    Select **HTTP**. Enter your proxy as `HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD`, replacing each capitalized word with your ProxyLane value. Keep the colons between the four values.

  <Step title="Check and launch">
    Multilogin checks the connection automatically. Wait for **Proxy check passed**, save the profile, then launch it.

    Inside that browser window, open [the IP check](https://api.ipify.org?format=json). Compare its `ip` with the same check in your regular browser on this computer, with its proxy off. Then try your intended website; the IP check alone does not prove that site works.
