# Connect MoreLogin

> Set up a ProxyLane proxy in MoreLogin and check the connection.

Use ProxyLane in one MoreLogin browser profile.

Install and sign in to **MoreLogin**. Then [create an HTTP proxy](/quickstart). Keep its [host, port, username, and password](/connection-settings) ready. For a browsing session, choose **Keep the same IP** under ProxyLane’s **Advanced options > IP rotation**.

## Set it up

1. Open **Profiles > Browser**. Find the profile you want to use and click **Edit Proxy**. Need a profile first? Use **+New Profile > Browser Profile > Advanced Create**.
2. Choose **New Proxy** and set **Proxy Type** to **HTTP**.
3. Enter the proxy **host**, **port**, **account**, and **password**. The account is your ProxyLane proxy username, not your email. Leave **Refresh URL** empty.
4. Save the settings, then click **Start** beside the profile. MoreLogin opens a profile-check page by default.

## Check it works

Inside the new browser window, open [the IP check](https://api.ipify.org?format=json). You should see an `ip` value. Compare it with the same check in your regular browser on this computer, with its proxy off. Then open the website you actually need; an IP check alone does not prove that site works.

  If the shown location seems wrong, different **IP Query Channels** can report different locations. Check the actual IP inside the profile before changing credentials. [Follow the connection checks](/troubleshooting) or [ask support](/support). Never send your proxy password.
