# Connect GoLogin

> Add your ProxyLane proxy to a GoLogin browser profile.

Install GoLogin and sign in. Have a browser profile ready. [Create a ProxyLane connection](/quickstart) with **HTTP / HTTPS** selected. Use **Keep the same IP** for a browsing session; [sticky sessions have limits](/rotating-and-sticky).

  <Step title="Open the proxy settings">
    On **All profiles**, find the profile you want to use. In its **Location** column, click **+**, then the **computer icon** for your own proxy.

  <Step title="Add your ProxyLane details">
    Enter the host, port, username and password from ProxyLane into the corresponding fields. GoLogin detects a protocol automatically; select **HTTP** if it chooses a different one.

  <Step title="Check and launch">
    Click **Connect**. GoLogin checks the proxy automatically: a **green indicator** means it connected. Launch that profile from the profile list.

    Inside that browser window, open [the IP check](https://api.ipify.org?format=json). Compare its `ip` with the same check in your regular browser on this computer, with its proxy off. Then try your intended website; the IP check alone does not prove that site works.
