# Connect AdsPower

> Add your ProxyLane proxy to an AdsPower browser profile.

Install AdsPower and sign in. [Create a ProxyLane connection](/quickstart) with **HTTP / HTTPS** selected. Use **Keep the same IP** for a browsing session; [sticky sessions have limits](/rotating-and-sticky).

  <Step title="Open the proxy settings">
    Click **New profile**, give it a name, then open **Proxy** and choose **Custom**.

  <Step title="Add your ProxyLane details">
    Set **Proxy type** to **HTTP**. Enter your ProxyLane host and port in **Host:Port**, separated by a colon. Put your proxy username in **Proxy username** and your proxy password in **Proxy Password**. Leave **Change IP URL** empty.

    [Find your host, port and proxy credentials](/connection-settings). These are not your ProxyLane account password.

  <Step title="Check and launch">
    Click **Check Proxy**. Wait for **Connection test passed**, then click **OK**. Find the profile on **Profiles** and click **Open**.

    Inside that browser window, open [the IP check](https://api.ipify.org?format=json). Compare its `ip` with the same check in your regular browser on this computer, with its proxy off. Then try your intended website; the IP check alone does not prove that site works.
